Types of Fostering

Buddy Program

Let us know what type of pet you are looking for and what time frame you are willing to open your home and we will play matchmaker.

Crisis Care Program

Temporary care of a pet whose owner has been admitted to hospital or is temporarily unable to care for their pet.

Staycation

Emergency care and short-term care of a homeless pet waiting for a foster home. (24-72 hours).

What are the
requirements to foster?

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must provide a valid photo ID with address
  • You must attend vet appointments at a partner vet
  • You must have a driver’s license or have access to a car
  • You must provide information about your home
  • While we become established, we ask that you provide bedding, toys, bowl and food.
