Our Story
In 2023, Adelaide Pets Alive! was founded and serves the community of Adelaide, South Australia. Fuelled by the urgency to address pet euthanasia, pet homelessness and due to a lack of legal protection for homeless pets, Adelaide Pets Alive! was created to provide a safety net for our furry companions.

We are a non-profit organisation in Adelaide, South Australia, that transforms lives by rehoming pets and supporting owners. With creativity, fun, and a commitment to saving lives, we roll out the red carpet for our homeless pets.
FUR Ball, Saturday 21 June
Adelaide Pets Alive! is rolling out the red carpet in Adelaide with this black tie cocktail event that supports homeless and vulnerable pets.
Boasting floor to ceiling windows, this event space offers extensive natural light and panoramic views of the Adelaide Riverbank precinct.
Walk the red carpet before your photo is taken in front of the sponsors board and don't forget to take an entry ticket for the door prize.
Your ticket provides you with full access to beer, wine and soft drinks while you socialise and mingle with other animal lovers.
An assortment of cocktail food and canapés will be available.
An extensive range of items will be available to bid on at the silent auction, there is sure to be something for everyone.
The proceeds of the night will go towards much needed veterinary care for vulnerable and homeless pets.

“Our family adopted two kittens from Adelaide Pets Alive! last year and they have been an absolute joy. They were in foster care since birth and the kittens were well socialised with people and the resident dog. Our kittens were personally delivered to our home and spent hours with us helping the kittens settle into their new environment. The kittens have blended into our family and live with two big dogs. They are incredibly sociable with our dogs, they eat, sleep and play together like one big family.
